My poem, “Death Visits as Often as a Distant Relative,” has been published in this month’s issue of District Lit! This poem was inspired by a lifelong fixation on death and escapism, which I experienced particularly vehemently as a teenager.
District Lit is one of my favorite online journals. I’ve long admired their taste in ardent, fiery, imagistic verse. I’m honored to be one of a handful of poets published in this quarterly magazine.
